Wednesday, February 1 was World Read Aloud Day. Mrs. Haskin's class earned a popcorn party! It was the perfect way to enjoy books- with popcorn. In the afternoon, they had a few guest authors (through Scholastic) read a story to them and talk about how they came up with book ideas. The class also enjoyed their read aloud The One and Only Ivan and ended the day with silent reading around the room.
