Mr. Cody Van Deursen

Term of Service: April 30, 2026, through December 31, 2026 (Mr. Van Deursen was appointed to complete the term of Katie Kimbrell, who resigned from the board on April 8, 2026.

Mr. Van Deursen was born and raised in Lowell. He and his wife, McKinley, have two children, Vivienne and Wyatt, who currently attend Tri-Creek School Corporation, and their son, Ashton Tegtman, is a 2022 graduate of Lowell High School. Mr. Van Deursen is a 2002 graduate of Lowell High School, and he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Francis in 2006. Mr. Van Deursen is the owner and operator of Van Deursen Farms, Inc.

Why is Tri-Creek School Corporation/public education important to you?

I was born and raised here, and my children have attended and continue to attend Tri-Creek Schools.
