Stacey Heams is the district Safety and Security Coordinator. Ms. Heams comes with a wealth of experience that includes a background of being a law enforcement officer, school resource officer, and most recently as a support for the mental health aspect of human behavior. She oversees district school safety plans, emergency procedures, and training throughout the district. She also performs SRO duties for Lowell Middle School as well as the three elementaries including presenting to students. She is available to speak with parents and community members regarding concerns with safety and security upon request.

The Tri-Creek School Corporation has one full-time uniform police officer working within the school district. Officer Cory Burkus is primarily assigned to the Lowell High School. He is a 15-year veteran of the Lowell Police Department. He has been the Tri-Creek School Corporation’s school resource officer for 7 years. Although assigned to the high school, he also does regular visits and assists the administration at Lowell Middle School and each of the three elementary schools.
